Taylor Swift premieres official Style Music Video

The Fan favourite track ‘Style’ is lifted as third single from the icon’s latest album ‘1989’.

Taylor Swift has just whacked the hotly anticipated video for her latest single ‘Style’ onto her Youtube Channel.

Similar to the Blank Space video, although slightly more darker in essence; Swift and her male counterpart are telling us a story about reminiscing their past as lovers. Lots of effects going on, especially with their memories and faces being projected onto the singer and her surroundings.

 

Definitely a radical change happening with Swift, since her last video, but not necessarily a bad thing. This particular video works enormously well thanks to the nature of the song ‘Style’ itself. It’s more romantic electropop in a way, so we’re totally feeling the fact that Taylor Swift wanted to go a bit more artsy, and delivered the full package that way.

The project itself was directed by Kyle Newman while ‘Style’ was co-written by Swift with Max Martin, Shellback and Ali Payami and is said to refer to her short relationship with One Direction band member Harry Styles.
